Winter Coat?

So, I really love this Thom Browne coat at Jeffrey, but it costs 6G's on sale.... so:

Anyone know anything similar to it? This is it:

I'm 5'8" and it reached pretty much 1/2 down my calves, if anything else reaches that far on me, that'd be perfect. Thanks!

I like it, but don't think it'd be worth it (although I haven't seen it in person).

*This trench is my favorite for the season.

Also, I would recommend some of the Black Fleece coats. I would say the quality is definitely on par with other high end designers and the fit is excellent. Very reminiscent of TB's own line.

But 6k for a coat just seems a little excessive...unless you're ballin'. But with sales right now, I could cop at least 2 of the coats above for under that price, if not 3.

Honestly, if I really needed a coat right now, I would be hard pressed not to pick up one of the Black Fleece coats. I am really impressed with the type of quality BB was able to churn out for the line. Plus, all of them are on 25% off right now, so that's nice.

Yeah, I just took a look at 'em, and I'm really liking them..... the one thing about the coats at BG's though is that I've got their card.... and I'm a little low on the cash funds b/c of xmas gifts, so I need to see how much flow I've got and if I can manage one of the BF coats.... I'm really liking their chesterfields and their DB's, actually they look a whole ton like the TB I was liking originally....

Yea, I think they're a lot more practical than the TB one you posted as well. The one above is more of a novelty type of coat, so I could see it getting old after a while which isn't good considering how much it costs. But then again, I think that is somewhat the appeal of Thom Browne to begin with.

I've tried on the chesterfield coat from BF and it fits amazing; Perfect length (although I'm 6'2) and the construction is impeccable.

I also really like the raglan coat, although the store here didn't stock it so I haven't got to see it in person yet.

Dude, I think you would need a 44 in the Raf coat and even that might be bigger than you're used to. Although, it is supposed to fit a little oversized I guess.

Jil might be a good bet too, the coats this season are incredible.

I like everything about that coat other than the tail. The other CCP coat from A on the other hand is gorgeous.

It's definitely a well constructed coat. I really like the shoulder construction, very different from any other coat out there.

I love those Raf coats. Great shape! They got even more expensive this season ($1,700 for the Caban coat) when even the Nylon insert one was only $1,300 last season and made it to sale, I'm pretty sure.

If anyone's got a raf coat in a 46 (I think) that they don't wear anymore drop me a PM.

hmm... i doubt i'd find anything in my size at any sale, so i guess ill look into some spring weight coats since i layer alot anyway.

Yea, I just saw the nylon insert coat the other day in a 52...too big for me though unfortunately.

P.S. When I saw that coat at the beginning of the season, it was $1500...damn mark ups.

That lanvin is amazing, I got it in navy blue but had to switch to something more adapted to the weather. Canada Goose it is now I guess.

Damn. I'm going to have to give a call about that caban coat / other shit. Surprised they have Raf in stock still, seemed super picked over at the L.A. barneys. Next to nothing on the racks. Maybe I should've asked about stock in the back?
