yeah they are the same Mess Shorts, the inseam on the shorts in your pic does look unusually short though, but maybe its because mine is a size L? anyway, the fit is pretty nice (not too loose, not too skinny) and they fall to right around the knee. the material is made of lightweight corduroy. i believe there was other colors like black and tan.

I picked up a couple of pairs of the Mess shorts as well and I love them. The fit is exactly as fallen angels described, not too loose/skinny nor too long/short. At F.I.L. there was also another pair of shorts made with Giza45 cotton that retailed for...something like 23,000yen, pretty ridiculous.

i saw some photo tees at FIL last weekend. 3 of them: one of a building, one of a mountain, and one of what looked like shelters set up along a valley. they looked like rural mountain scenes from the sichuan quake in china or something, but wasnt sure, i could be wrong. did anyone else see them or know exactly what the photos are of?

I have no idea, but they have been a legit sneaker source for many years, and they are partnered with a respected blog (Freshness) so I highly doubt they are selling bootleg Visvim. Also, usually people dealing in fakes don't ask premium prices for the stuff...
