Hey, how are you measuring that Raf shirt? 18.5 inches, from what I assume is across the back at the top of the shoulders, seems pretty big to me.

Yea, i was interested in that too but all the measurements seem big as i heard raf shirts fit kinda slim. No way a size 46 person is wearing a 20.5" chest fitted.

it does fit slim, bear in mind this is a tagged 48

1. shoulder to shoulder is straight across from the shoulder seams as macuser has deduced

2. pit-to-pit is straight across from underarm seams. however since it's so tapered i would use the chest measurement which was taken at the narrowest part of the shirt as a true measure of the width of the shirt.

since the chest part is going straight across your rib cage, the chest measurement is going to determine whether the shirt is too tight or not.
