I finally got the crotch patched up on my old SR's. Transitioned back into wearing them at work. I've lost track but my best guess is 6ish months of casual wear and maybe 3 or 4 months of work wear.

It's so seldom, to see heavy raw denim stuff treated the real hard way as work pants, what those stuff originally was made for.

This kind of authentic raw denim spirit is one of the main topics, the Jeansmsueum wanna keep alive for ever with rescueing such items from the garbage bin, when it comes to the real end as worn out raw denim rags.

So go ahead for another long time with them. They found a great denim teacher like your other hard worn stuff too
