Nice beaches in asia (without pedophiles)

Wanna go away for the holidays because I live in a sucky country with sucky weather. I want hot weather, a nice beach and preferrably some good shopping.

What i DON'T want is psytrance, ravers, hippies, pedophiles, potheads or families. All of the above can be found southeast asia (esp. Thailand). So where should I go?

Beaches in china are shit, hong kong preety much same story (why would you ever associate beaches with china/hk?), it will be over-run with people. Try the Maldives, some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, i went on a surf trip there for like 3 weeks, never wanted to leave. You should skip bali if what you hate is a crap load of people, however there are lots of private villas for hire away from the tourist ridden beaches. The phi-phi islands in Thailand are very nice.

First of all, when you say nice beaches, China should be the last place you mention.

Check out Cebu, Phillipines and the surrounding beaches.

there are plenty of islands that are devoid of major tourists/ravers. Check out little Ko Chang off the coast of Burma but in Thailand....Ko Lanta has treated me well. As did the other ko Chang national park.

I'd avoid Vietnam beaches, expect maybe Mui Ne.

I second Boracay in the Philippines.

It may be out of the way, but the voyage to get to the island is completely worth it.

I recommend the SeaWind resort in station 1... almost completely secluded and private.
