Grado sr80's aren't worth the extra money over the SR 60's. Much better off saving your money to upgrade to a much higher end phone later on. SR 60's will keep you happy until your ready to shell out 350+ bucks to upgrade to "the next level" in headphones

From someone who has owned every 'phone grado has had to offer I would defiintely say that the 80 is a worthwile upgrade over the 60 because the bass goes way deeper and is a lot more full. Head-fi has taken so much of my money over the past 3 years
