i'm really interested but worried about the sizing issue with Japanese belts. I believe I read on this board that Japanese belt sizes always have to be sized up? so someone with size 30 should get size 32 or even 34 in Japanese belt size? Is there any truth to this? I'm a size 29-30 myself...

Actually... my Polo belt is a size 32 and I just purchased a size 32 in Samurai's, and they fit exactly the same. I use the fourth hold on my Polo and the fourth hole on Samurai's is is the same as well. Here's what you do.

Get a measureing tape, measure from the buckle to the hole you use. And tell me the measurement. Because, the middle hole on these Samurai's is a 29". Therefore the biggest would be 31".

just measured my size with a Nudie (buckle) belt; it's a 82 cm's so about 32". Guess its too small then
