I think if you look at most "radical" leaders...no matter what color, they had to have a certain sense of style and charisma to attract followers...though most just wore military style clothing, i.e. Che Guevera, Mao, Hitler, Napoleon...they all still had their own style or swagger.......

it takes a shitload of confidence to inspire and motivate a group of oppressed people to band together and fight their oppressors. a side-effect is a natural manifestation of this charisma into style. holler if ya hear me, brothas.

HOLLLLA!!!

He new he was going out so he went up in there montana style. I was in forth grade and wrote a paper on him

Dude was heavy religious too. And had bad credit like a black person (bankruptcy twice).

john brown. hated and loved. either way, he was the catalyst for the civil war.

created a community of free african-american citizens. him, his sons and many members of his community tried to take over harper's ferry armory to start an armed slave insurrection. they were surrounded by local and national forces and taken prisoner--with many of his men killed. he and his men were later tried and hung. the aftermath was the civil war.
