what's 'D'? flex defensive player? i'm assuming it's not defensive team...

'D' is just any defensive player. That means you can play anyone designated as a DB or DL or whatever. Our league is set up to draft individual defensive player as opposed to whole defenses.

IDP (idividual defensive player) leauges are so much better, way more fun.

Hard to find a leauge who does it really, kudos comish.

and four WR is hardcore, but i like it. can really find some good plug in players week to week.

team phiz good balance of proven talent and upside

dmz pulled off being the 12th pick i think

my team needs more upside

the pigs couldve been better if didgi didnt leave early

confrontation is a dark horse

the meats can surprise people .. lots of sleepers on this one

lazyboys might need a qb ... chad is good but always injured

the jets is also balanced top to bottom

the bandits can kill you in their passing ... but .. i think having both wayne and peyton in one team is overkill ( same bye week)they need another rb

fat duns can be scary good if SA and Ahaman stay healthy .. solid rcvng corps

the ballcrushers another balanced team ... might need qb help if drew goes down

personally:

i leaned a bit too much towards the veterans. about all my guys are geezers.

i really wanted/expected gore to fall to me. im happy though because westbrook is the last RB in my tier 1. if he was gone, id pick up manning.

wanted to pickup a QB in round 2, but all the elite WR were being picked up during the 2nd round, so im happy i was able to snatch up ocho. im especially happy that bulger was still available in the 3rd. rams offense is looking good this year.

im really happy with my WR fleet:

ocho was inconsistent last year, but put up monster numbers.

bruce on the other hand, was (from what i remember) consistent, but the numbers werent as monstrous.

stallworth and branch i picked, because i have faith in their new situations and surroundings. they both are also highly capable of huge numbers.

but again, they are all pretty old.

jacobs was an impulse pick. i was still deciding between him and another unnamed RB, and i hadnt really come to a decision before time was up.

im a bit unsettled by my TE. i either wanted gates early (didnt happen), or for vernon to land in my lap (also didnt happen). oh well. the WR score more in this league anyways, and LJ smith isnt too bad.

im happy i snatched fred taylor late. i was scared to pick him because no one else was. is there an injury i dont know about? (not talking about last years injury).

my backups im generally happy with. jeff garcia might fit into TB pretty well, especially since chris simms has nothing to offer, and taylor is a good replacement if jacobs doesnt deliver. i feel indifferent about derrick mason. hes just a filler.

my players bye schedule also work out perfectly.

ill be back to bag on everyone elses picks.

there is a lot to say about almost everyones team . good and bad. there were mistakes by us all, 9th round pick B lloyd? what was i thinking...

but it will all be decided in week 1, or during the season, you never know what will happen, who will emerge, it could be nuts.

I can't say I'm happy with my team, but with my draft position, I would give myself a b- or c grade. Which isn't too great. I thought a few players would fall to me, that didn't. Overall I think my weakest position, due to consistency, is running back - Rudi Johnson, Deuce McAllister, and Lendale White. Where as my receivers aren't always going to put up huge numbers, but I feel that they are consistent.

I think considering my draft position (last) I did quite well. I was torn between drafting ronnie brown or Reggie bush to compliment mojo. Obviously bush is a sexier pick, but I feel defenses will have better schemes for him, and I didn't want 2 rbbcs. Ronnie brown didn't do much for me last year, but I think under cam Cameron he's going to blossom. I also love my backups, Jamal Lewis and Turner the burner.

I feel very strong at WR (and this league I feel might be dictated by WR play). I have 2 legit 1s in roy and colston. I forget who my third is, and my 4th and 5th WRs (Anthony Gonzales and dude from Denver who's on the PUP list right now) are wild cards that could do real well. I think I also drafted another WR but forget who.

I've never drafted defensive players before so I had no strategy, aside from the fact that I wanted merrimen and champ Bailey, the two best in my opinion. I think I also drafted a darkhorse in the db on the raiders as his stats were pretty good on a bad team, and I think the raiders D will be solid under Ryan.

I guess my queue drafted an extra tightend so I might have to pick up another defensive player, as I only have 6.

I also wanted Gould but happy with rackers.

Damn, I snatched up braylon Edwards and wes welker too? I'm gangsta.
