DAY THREE

Saturday means violin lessons with my daughter. While walking she snapped a shot. Note stainless steel water bottle - no Bisphenol A for me.

After class we went for a short stroll and came upon strange pyramid-like structure. Felt oddly compelled to stand on it.

Continued constitutional through the woods. Took picture with tree.

On way home ran into minor local monster. Took care of it easily.

FEBRUARY 24, 2008: DAY FOUR

Home with the flu today but managed to drag my ass out in the afternoon just for the sake of the tour. Went to one of Vancouver's most recognizable landmarks, Lion's Gate Bridge. Took a few pictures. Went home. Had computer problems. Finally posted.

DAY FIVE

Went for a short stroll down to the seawall in Coal Harbour. Visited the local church.

Hung around.

Continued on and saw the new trade and convention centre being built. To the left are the Harbour Air docks where the seaplanes land.

BTW - if anyone has any suggestions... things that you would like to see around Vancouver... images that you would like to see... any ideas at all really, let me know - you may see your ideas come to life before your very own eyes.

i spent a couple hours sitting in that exact spot a few years back.....lovely view of the harbour. vancouver is great.

can you take a snap with the steam from the gastown clock coming out of your ears, or better yet...ass?

DAY SIX

Rare Midday update. The rains have returned to the coast. Walked little Ordette to early choir practice at school.

Drove to work.

NHL trade deadline day - practically a national holiday in Canada. Still waiting for the Canucks to do something significant.

DAY SEVEN

It is harder than I thought to do posts everyday. At any rate, went on a brief hike, largely to be able to take some crappy pictures.

Low angle butt shot

Low angle crotch shot

2008-02-27-Hike_02.jpg

Non butt or crotch shot

Went to the Lynn Canyon suspension bridge as it was getting dark (sorry for the large file size).

Got home and took the dog for a walk.

DAY EIGHT

Oddly enough, the sun returned today. I decided to take some pictures over by the Vancouver Art Gallery.

Took a shot in front of the Olympic Countdown clock. Nice to see that the protesters haven't defaced it today.

Sat on another lion.

Checked to see how much change was in the fountain.

2008-02-28-Fountain.jpg

When the sun comes out people like to sit here, especially if they don't have jobs.

The front doors of the Art Gallery.

2008-02-28-Art_Gallery_01.jpg

Some low budget Lowrey steez.

2008-02-28-Art_Gallery_02.jpg

Gave people the bird.
