especially since blue in green will be carrying the made in japan no1 and no2... with hand painted gulls. only place outside of japan i think.

a shame about the tabs, but def. a good thing for people that were wanting to get these along time but had some trouble...

Sorry I'm not trying to clutter the thread, but when is this going to happen and how much are they going to be?

Just some personal thoughts.

You guys are washing it toooo much, my experience with jap evisu no1 is yamane colorfast denim, and are not supposed to fade fast. they are supposed to keep dark for a very long time.

If you wash no1 to often they will only turn out blue, with not especially sharp fades.

after 3 machine washes, i doubt they will look extreme at the end.

My guess is that they only will have slightly faded lap areas. and maybe some wallet fades on back pockets.

deus, i don't know how long you've been following this project. but i think you're missing the point. the point of this is to see what happens when the jeans are passed off from one to another every month for about a year. we're not trying to achieve a certain look for some look's sake. this is an experiment in a unique evolution, and we're proud we came up with it.
