i'm going to go out on a limb and put in a word in defense of the singapori. call me a turd if you must.

regarding the frequency of postings, many people post as often, or nearly so, but don't seem to get criticized. these folks seem to think WAYWT is actually 'what are you wearing today, and everyday, even if you're wearing the same damn thing every time.' so it's probably unfair to single out soepom, slut & co. on number of posts alone.

as for their supposed haughty attitude, i have no idea how you can figure out someone's demeanor from their picture. sure, you can form an opinion of someone's personality based on looks alone, but pardon me if i don't find that the most compelling argument.

in terms of style, i wouldn't put them anywhere near 'worst.' there are tons more wack fits, particularly from some people who spend outrageous amounts on designer labels. i would put the singaporeanites in the range of average to occasionally stylish.

sure some people can disagree and say they hate those singaporeanous clothes, which is fine. expressing positive and negative views on clothing is what this forum is about. if you can't take neg comments, you probably shouldn't post. however, nothing says you have to accept someone else's opinion (especially if that negative opinion appears to be in the minority). what's particularly annoying regarding the critics of the singaporeanians (and reduces their credibility) is the vehemence of the attacks. surely nothing on this forum or anything related to clothes could warrant that much emotional expenditure.

basically, if you like what you wear, don't let someone on the internetz tell you otherwise. if it were me, i'd keep on wearing and posting as usual. or even more frequently. and if that infuriated my detractors, so much the better.
