One pair for the summer

So here's the deal: This summer i'll be working outside in California (im from WI) pretty much all day. during this time, I"ll be wearing some shorts because it'd be way too hot. But I want to bring a pair of jeans with me to break in on my free time. Of the following, which should I take?

ald (light wear, barely seeing fading)

nudie rrdg (worn for 7 mos, washed once. will these effectively fade?)

imperial duke (medium wear)

kmw rocker (ok wear)

edwin sen (good amount of fading, no washes)

As usual, i'm willing sacrifice general comfortability in the heat for some added wear. Which one should i bring?

take your most unworn pair, it would be an experiment, when you look at those jeans the wear would be all from your californian summer, so nostalgic

definately the least worn, will be a good chance to get some nice fading and wearing in

Least worn like everyone else. Or the rockers but that's just my personal preference.

i dunno maybe the edwins since they are your most 'advanced' pair with no wash, maybe you can push them to new heights and wash after the summer?? although it might be nice to "even out the wear" in your starting 5.

i second the dukes.

they have felled seams which will give you that added durability. they will be nice and worn after this summer. imperials dukes look great after a lot of wear.
