how much do you guys sacrifice for a nice piece? do you tolerate an uncomfortable waist on jeans? tight shoulders on a jacket, all if it looks good?

i was just wondering because i have jackets that are fine worn, but when i stretch my arms out in front all the way, they feel tense in the back. Any experiences like this?

to me, fit and comfort go hand-in-hand. i'm not going to wear something uncomfortable because it'll show in how i wear it.

Nope. The only sacrifice is downsizing on jeans and the fact that they're damn tight the first day or two, other than that I wear my clothes just right so that they look good and are comfortable. And that's the way it should be, if you're uncomfortable you'll probably look bad in it anyway.

I agree with implicit.How comfortable something is extends to how it fits. I wouldn't normally spend money on anything if I didn't like everything about it. There are some exceptions though if I really like a piece or if it's for a really good price
