Serious? If you study the denim closely at the bottom of the photo, you can see that the fabric is made up out of lines of praying muslims. Maybe you should invest in a decent monitor instead of a new pair of jeans?

By the way, Idul Fitri (Malaysia: Idilfitri) is when muslims celebrate the end of fasting (Ramadan).

how is this in any way "socially conscious"? indonesia is the world's most populous muslim nation. there are muslims to the right and left. that's the way it is in indonesia. there is no difference in levi's showing muslims than coca cola (let alone any other big brands in the west's) ads showing images of santa claus during the coming of wintertime. you could claim that it would be "socially conscious" if muslims were a minority in indonesia and levi's was just trying to reach out to such a minority, but such is not the case.
