making your own jeans

I've checked the encyclopedia post but could anyone list all the materials and things you need to make some jeans.

Also does anyone know any companies that do rivets/studs/buttons with personalised patterns or names on them?

I dont know for fact but unless you want to order 100's of them I dont think many manufacturers would produce them for you. If they do it would cost you a shit load because you wouldn't meet their regular minimums.

A few months back there was a post where someone replaced their rivets using custom ones they made out of coins - 10 YEN if memory serves.

I LOVED tonys attitude towards his jeans, so completist, he bought APC but found the silver rivets so garrish! So he swapped em for bronze yen! Would have been dope to swap em for old french centimes, but the fact he took the trouble to do it and got a great result is SuperCool.
