i cook probably four times a week.

some of my recent favorites:

cuttlefish ink risotto

baked monkfish in piquant sauce

vegetable green curry (i'm talking real deal, grinding the paste with a mortar and pestel)

polenta w/ mushroom bechamel

homemade pizza

killer mac&cheese

red wine poached pears w/ marscapone

no baking, though. my lady does the baking.

oh, and if people like cooking authentic italian, go buy "The Silver Spoon". It's most frequently sold italian cookbook (over 1200 pages long) and Phaidon just released it for the first time in english. it's great. it's got crazy recipes from parts of animals that you can't even get in the states.

i can barbecue a mean large slab of meat

but other than that, the only things ive ever attempted to cook from scratch were crepes (which turned out killer)

for the amount of time i spend watching the food network youd think it would pay off in the kitchen, but apparently not

I always stock up on frozen chicken breast. You can do a million things with chicken breast if you just throw stuff on top it.Even more if you bread that thing up. Recently:

Chicken Parm (Hero/Pasta)

Chicken Caesar Salads/Wraps

Chicken sandwiches

Chicken Chili

stuff like that

Edit: that and I make a mean omellete
