no exaggeration, at least 30% of the people there were wearing a plaid shirt/flannel, and there were at least 1000 people there throughout the night. i've never seen so many hipsters in one place, it was kind of ridiculous

hate that shit, especially when nobody dances, it's like people just go to these parties to be seen

kiefer and i (we call ourselves Rebel Rebel, or something gay like that. hence the intro) spun at beauty bar in san diego last night after a bunch of really good local bands had played there all day long.

there wasn't shit tons of people left to watch/dance, but the small crowd that stuck around ended up going pretty nuts. twas a success on most levels.
