Anyone been to Richard Kidd recently?

richard kidd is way too uptight. when i lived in vancouver i always wished there was a place like nomad.

The only complaint I have is that they're crazy overpriced... even by Canadian standards.

I think for the average consumer Richard Kidd is super high on the intimidation factor. It is not a very welcoming environment and that perhaps why he said uptight. Prices are rediculously high as well.

I never really understood how that place made money, the rent for that building must be insane. Anyways props to them for pushing the boundaries. Former Twenty Four and Richard Kidd are pretty ground breaking for Canada.

very true, but it's probably intentional as there target market isn't the average consumer.

I used the same screenprinter as RK in Los Angeles last year, he's making "Hella Margin" on those 1 color screenprints!. I guess those 800% markups pay for that Vancouver store.

It's really no wonder why veryone and their dog has a tee-shirt line or are pushing thirty designs a season. I think that graphic tees are the midmarket brand equivalent of a designer fragrance line.

richard kidd is alright, nice sales assistants, not much selection. The richard kidd waffle cashmere hoods are dope as fuck.

they stocked a full supreme line but sold out real quick. i was there early july, had the new backpack, duffle bag, fitteds, mesh front cap, 1994 throwback 5panel, etc etc. oh and fila bands.

what happened....walked by rk the other day and it was gone completely. I thought they were renovating and expanding, shit looked like they up and left. There was a sign that said a shoe store is moving in. whats the deal???

It's a shame that Richard Kidd closed it's doors. That beautiful space is being wasted.
