Prada denim

so i just posted a pic in WAYWT chat edition but thought i'd bring it out here too. Was at Barney's earlier just checkin out some stuff. I noticed they had the same sstack of Prada jeans that were there a little while ago when i bought my Diors there, so i thought i'd give it a shot. Not surprisingly, they fit amazing. Denim is a bit soft but it has a tiny bit a stretch. Heres a few shots of the Raw Black denim, I'll have more shots up soon but i didnt have a chance to take that many pics before my camera ran out of battery.

I had the black washed from their first denim season and I loooooooovvvveeedddddd them and their fit. I sold them but I think I'm gonna try to get another pair soon.

hmmmmmmmm i was looking at my jeans and im thinkin they might not be raw actually...thats wat the girl at Barneys told me but im not quite sure @_@

those are not raw. You can see abraision marks.

as i stated in the other thread...nice jeans

i wish Prada would bring back the more formal looking denim trousers for their main label though...like the ones they had back in S/S 04...look great with a soft and easy knitted t-shirt or polo.

They fit you very nicely, maybe a little long (you're sporting that "denim sock" look in the first photo), but I can't believe they use silkscreened branding on the interior waistband and back pocket, that's such bullshit and really makes the quality look poor on Prada's part.

I find the back pockets on the Pradas too small.

It's probably good if your waist is 29" or smaller, otherwise the portions look off.

Those look good on you. I just bought a pair a couple weeks ago. Same fit just in a blue raw wash. They also have a slim fit jean which looks great. It is very similar to Dior 19cm's.

O and the jeans are quite thin. They are 10oz. They have a nice clean fit though. Good summer jean.

I tried them on and I swear, they fit extremely nice! (better than my APC and Dior)

However, the price was kinda way over the top!

I think you mean they fit differently than your APC or Dior.

I have a pair of the really light weight Prada's. They are a great fit and it's a nice change in denim compared to the heavy Japanese stuff once in a while.

The ones that i saw were different from the ones that have been posted in this thread.

I asked the guy at Barneys if these were raw/dry and he said that they're not!

They're just wax coated!

My question is, would wax coated denim fade nicely just like the raw/dry ones?
