It's not a matter of "doing better". Looking at fits posted by someone who's criticizing me profides a frame of reference. It allows me to decide if such criticism has any validity to me

it's possible to appreciate and be somewhat knowledgable of the way people dress in other poles of fashion though.. many ppl (me included) enjoy fits from guys like cotton duck or cheepy despite dressing nothing like them. just cause you don't appreciate their look dont mean they cant offer eachother advice

this argument is used a lot, but it doesn't apply to clothing imo. someone can be a connoiseur of the arts having not practiced to be an artist themselves, but there's a good chance your personal taste reflects the tastefulness of the clothing you're wearing.

there are many stylists in the industry who don't dress in a way that i def don't appreciate or actually hate, but yet they have the know how and skill in order to make a celebrity look good. alot of them have a great deal of knowledge that i find helpful and applaudable.

there are certain film critics whose opinions i respect, who have never made a film.

another point i'd like you to understand is that while not all aesthetics and personal tastes are the same on this forum, there is something that holds them together. community standards and a respect of certain aesthetical opinions and looks. imo, from what i've read of your output whether it be commentary and esp. fits, i feel that your shit is not substantial/not relative to the board. often times they are offensive. so don't get shit twisted, cause it's not as if you are the only one who gets hated on. or that people are specifically and only hating on your age. practically everyone has been hated on. the difference is either you are innocently ignorant to how this system works or that you just refuse to admit this to anyone, yourself included. no improvement other than erasing your jumpsuit fit.

if you have plus repped people who've criticized you fits, for posts other than their fits (which they have never posted or you can't find), then it is unnecessary to ask for them. they said something you apparently like(d), you repped, done. so why then, by your last statement, would it even be relevant if someone said something that was legitimate and you happened not to like their fit??

i don't know if i will be relevant at 50, but i can only hope that my peers give me some sorta deserved respect. let's put this way, i doubt i'll be posting on a fashion forum. none of the older fashion icons or industry giants do (who'd have even more of a reason too).

you probably aren't irrelevant to your immediate circles, but overall i'd say that you seem pretty irrelevant for this forum, other than maybe some hate-practice.
