hey ivan, open til 6 today.

let me know if you think the suits there are nice and worth copping. I bought one already but I wasn't sure if the other ones were nice and didn't have anyone to give me a second opinion

The jacket looks really good, shape wise. The pagoda shoulders are quite sharp, when ever I see it I am always reminded of Carols suits, whom made me familiar with the term. Now I'm familiar with another term spalla insellata. Money very well spent imo!

When i went on thursday this suit had two sizes, 48 and 50. One in each. I got the 50 :)

thanks Jcot, it's a bit different to the suits I currently have from herringbone which all have natural shoulders so i guess this will give me more variety. I think for $650 it's a steal because thats the price i'd pay for coutnry road or studio italia but instead I got a margiela lol.

The fabric is black, spotted with dark navy and grey - heavier than most suits in sold in sydney and it is cotton-lined, instead of cupro or something similarly lightweight. I guess it might be because in europe the weather generally is not as warm as down here, or it probably is a F/W collection.

Could be your pose, but it looks a little tight in the shoulders. Could be the pitch.

if you could be bothered could you post some measurements? I need a suit like that.

edit: If you're looking to get rid of it let me know first please:o Though it could be a touch to big for me.

hey, i'll post some when i get home tonight, i'm at uni studying all day lol.

If you get a chance you shold check out the wasteland sale there were about 10 suits on the rack when I went and everything is either 48 or 50 (they fit differently too, as some 50s I couldn't fit, and some 48s were fine).

Nice pickup superhero, although cotton lining means you'll be putting it into storage till April. Sleeve length good? Whats your height if you don't mind me asking.

Yea unfortunately it will not see daylight until then. Sleeve length is slightly long, and I'm 188cm tall with 36" base of neck to wrist length. I will have to take in about 5/6th inch on the sleeves.

Fuckin' hell you're tall for an asian guy. Pagoda shoulders definitely gives your frame that extra sharpness.

so I just went through most of the 'Fast Food Appreciation' thread in supertrash....Sydney has a sparse range of places ... McD's, KFC, Pizza Hut, Burger King.... what happened to the Taco Bell that use to be on George St? :|

Anybody have some similar-to-American places such as Five Guys, In-N-Out, Popeye's, Wise Guy etc to suggest for heart clogging goodness?

there is counter burger that we have spoken about before, and also that American diner place on oxford st opened by the people behind Ruby Rabbit... none of these are In-N-Out status mind you.

Taco bell is long gone. i think it would have a better run now tbh.
