tweeds 691,351 Posted January 4, 2007 Deus Evisu EU No.2 2001(?) Theese are probably not my best pair, but they still got some good charactrer. they are so soft and bruise so easy. just a lot of patching and repairwork done. alsö theese are worn by a friend after me, thats why they are strange worn, two different bodies create different worn out areas.
tweeds 691,351 Posted January 4, 2007 Paul T LVC 1947 501 A few people have asked about the fall 06 1947 Levi's. I thought these were pretty good jeans. My 1933 501s did fade too fast for me, but I did wash these more than any jeans I've had before. The 1901 repros, which have quite a dark finish, with Japanese fabric, fade beautifully and keep their indigo. WIth the 47s, I gave them a quick rinse - which got rid of some of the shrinkage - and machine-washed them around six months in. I don't think they've lost much indigo compared with, for example, my Euro Lees which have an authentic vintage-style fade. HEre they are next to new 1947s, I think from this season. And here, for comparison's sake, is a pair of original 40s 501s whihc went for a good price on eBay recently. These 30s and 40s jeans have a very black look to them... I think the reissues are pretty close. I think if i'd washed the 47s more they would have been fine. I personally like the dark look so was in no hurry for them to fade. Next time around I would soak them overnight; because there was still a fair amount of starch and sizing present, the denim was brittle, so there are breaks in the cotton partiuclarly around the honeycombs.

tweeds 691,351 Posted January 4, 2007 Deus Acne Mac Raw/Evisu JP i thought i could show you my girlfriends acne raw. its the mac raw version. worn for about 9 months before wash. remember its superslim and stretch. unfortunally they are now really breaking a lot in beneath crotch. due to thigh wear. dont get this new forum rules with no possible way linking images. so here are the links http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/7844/acne11cr8.jpg http://img102.imageshack.us/img102/9236/acne22zy1.jpg and my japan evisu is still going on strong. http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/712/evisujapan1smallgh5.jpg http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/270/evisujapan2smallwt5.jpg working on my new and cheap edwin nashville. got them for 70Usd, brand new with tags. but they are a bit slim for me, so it takes some time getting used to. this is at day 1 with my also brand new visvim bag. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e384/Deuser/visvim1.jpg damn, i need some more loose jeans for summer, theese edwin kills me
tweeds 691,351 Posted January 4, 2007 Corbin Law APC New Standard ok here are my jeans that i washed in the stream the water was really cold which is good cause i didnt lose too much indigo. but they were in the for roughly 8 hours they ahd been worn for 6-8 months, im unsure when is tarted wearing them, i bought them july of last year, but i didnt wear them around and to school in the begining of the year for fear of being mistaken as some emo kid in tight pants. but once i won over peoples trust as a 100% keeper of real i felt comfortable wearing tight pants around people and am never mistaken for emo or whatever that all took place around september or so but i know its pretty stupid i should be able to wear whatever i want around whoever i want and i should be judged by the content of my character, but i was just a self conscious freshmen at the time, i really dont care anymore. i was in bennington vermont at the time of the washing right next to manchester which is full of really nice outlets, burberry, versace, gap, used to be a levis but now its closed, polo and some more and near dorset which has a really nice theatre festival there you go. update APC NS i dont know how many washes purchased 2 years ago, shit its been a while. fell out of rotation quite a bit but still get some wear. this is how they fit: excuse the balls, they were pretty tight aftr the wash. without further ado nitric acid burn

tweeds 691,351 Posted January 4, 2007 Tabris Nudie SSDS My Svens have hit 6months. tweeds 691,351 Posted January 4, 2007 mcflip Jean Shop I've been waiting with these to post a comprehensive "before and after" thread. These are some Jean Shops that I got in January. I ride my bike quite a bit in them and the crotch is fading a bunch. They didn't seem to do anything, but now they're fading like crazy and getting all streaky. I haven't really kept a diary per se, but every time I wash them I've taken a pic of them. They started off as a pretty stiff 1 wash. As of right now, they're really really soft, (and I did starch them at first, but not anymore) so I think any future wear is going to be much less defined. I tried to let in as much natural light as I could when I took the pics, and I also adjusted the levels in photoshop. brand new: front: http://flipsixsix.com/images/jeans/jeanshops/1-06-front.jpg back: http://flipsixsix.com/images/jeans/jeanshops/1-06-back.jpg 3 months right before I jumped in the shower wearing them and went at them with some Dr. Bronners (they were mad fucking stinky) front: http://flipsixsix.com/images/jeans/jeanshops/4-06-front.jpg back: http://flipsixsix.com/images/jeans/jeanshops/4-06-back.jpg after the shower front: http://flipsixsix.com/images/jeans/jeanshops/4-06-front-postwash.jpg back: http://flipsixsix.com/images/jeans/jeanshops/4-06-back-postwash.jpg 5 months (after being washed with that sugarcane denim treatment in a machine) Unfortunately the honeycombs have been shifting like crazy and (I'm ashamed to admit this) but I tried folding them to get them to reform where they were originally, but there are some areas where they started creasing totally differently and faded kind of off... front: http://flipsixsix.com/images/jeans/jeanshops/6-06-front.jpg back: http://flipsixsix.com/images/jeans/jeanshops/6-06-back.jpg today (almost 8 months) They haven't been washed since june, but I just spent a week cleaning out my mom's disgusting basement wearing them and I did some yard work in them and sweated my balls off. I don't know if it's the light or what, but it seems the fading has accelerated a lot from the last set of pics. front: http://flipsixsix.com/images/jeans/jeanshops/8-06-front.jpg back: http://flipsixsix.com/images/jeans/jeanshops/8-06-back.jpg update Here are my Jean Shops from pg 46: I let them go way too long (yes, really) I wanted to wash them for a couple of weeks, but things have been fairly crazy on my end. I've had these almost exactly a year. Been washed maybe 4-5 times. They're getting really blue. They've gotten super ridiculous soft
