rockmeisha for real kyushu style tonkotsu - near west 4th and 6th, barrow street?

santoka for hokkaido style shio tonkotsu - take the port authority shuttle from penn to mitsuwa

Alot people recommend Chikubu for tokyo shoyu ramen, but I never had shoyu ramen in tokyo to compare.

all other places are crap. momofuku makes me puke.

I went to the kyushu fair at mitsuwa on the very last day and I bought like 2 dozen packages of fresh tonkotsu ramen from alot of famous ramen stands for 1 a buck each marked down from 8 bucks each, shelf life of 2 weeks left. My arteries are clogged.

haha brings me back memories. we were in kyoto and all the restaurants were packed so that's what we ended up eating. pretty damn good too

well there's nothing better in ny. And it's close to the bronx and queens by car, 10-15 minute drive.
