I just watched the OG "Cape Fear" and Scorsese's "Cape Fear" back to back in my Film & Literature class.

I prefer the OG version. Even though the characters are more one dimensional, and Scorsese's remake made them well rounded and more human... the remake as a whole was just way too over the top for me. Random ass fades to yellow and red wtf?
