Haven't had the chance to sit down and watch a film for a while.

so i finally finished the last disc of the series and all i can say is 'what the fuck?'... the last couple episodes were too intense and all over the place, i need to re-watch it again.

I watched this series around 6 or 7 years ago, but I remember having the same feeling at the end of it all. Did you watch the movie also? I believe it was an alternate ending, but it was still all over the place.

i just couldn't get with cristian bale playing a, um... mexican or partially mexican or not-mexican-but-likes-to-act-that-way ex-marine from the hood. i was too hung up on him being a patrick bateman or a new age bruce wayne to take his "'sup, dogg?"s and his "i just wanna get fuuucked up, eh"s at all seriously.

Pretty messy film, dialogue / accents were totally WTF most the time, Tarantino sucked really hard, and yet (like many Miike films) there were still a handful of pretty good scenes that made it semi-entertaining overall.
