Wash Jeans Without Water

I am surprised i have not seen any information on this site about this method but to make my g-star raw denims clean crispy and fresh i simply leave them in the dryer for a good while. sure they go stiff but does this not help to get those nice honeycombs?? just thought i would let my fellow superfuturians know if you didnt already....

i hardly think this method "cleans" them. they may smell nice and what not, but the dirt and grease are still there. as far as i know, the only way to dry clean them, is to well, dry clean them. dont be afraid of the water. it really doesnt do as much as you would think. and it keeps it in better condition, by thoroughly removing dirt and grease which may eat away at the denim.

Did you even read it properly? A dryer wont clean it, the dirt and grease particles are still there.

Just give it a warm or cold soak with some salt if you wanna wash them

i'm pretty sure the only way to clean your jeans without water is to clean them with blood. i heard it's the universal solvent.

I just coat mine in porcupine semen once a month. Seems to keep them clean and fresh smelling.

I always go with teh freezer, put em in there for 2 hours, and that seems to do it for me and most of my jeans, doesnt work so much for my Oni 19oz, but everything esle is neice and fresh feeling...

There are many ways to "freshen" a pair of jeans without water, and this may be one of those, like hanging outside. Jeez, give the guy a break.

yes, but he *did* specifically say "wash". theoretically, if you heat up jeans to a high enough degree, it will kill the bacteria. however, your jeans will burn.

...I put them in the washer, close the lid, and come back in two hours.
