Canadian company, based out of Montreal... I've never purchased anything from them before...just wondering if anyone has experience with Le Chateau and what their opinions are.

Avoid. Crappy quality stuff and all their mens stuff is Lee Hotti gino junk.

Stick with H&M if you want cheap trendy stuff.

Their girls' stuff is all right if it's on sale.

I went to a couple of their stores a few years ago. I agree with Minya, it is kind of fruitish......

Agreed x 3. Every now and then you'll find something decent, but for the most part it's the kind of stuff you'd see on poorly dressed gay dudes. And it's crap quality for the price.

I'm with everyone else, the stuff is poorly made in general . . . you may be able to find one piece or so in there, but for the price you could find much better stuff online.

I can't wait for an H&M on the west coast of Canada here.

Le Chateau is for people who shop Forever 21 but would like to keep their clothes for longer than a week. Same poor patterns and materials but sewn a little stronger.

I cringe whenever I walk by that store. The only reason I could see someone shopping there is to get a cheap (and strange) looking outfit that they wouldn't get chuffed about when someone burns a cigarette hole through it at the club...

Well the only reason I ask was because I'm Canadian and would rather support Canadian retailers/designers if they actually have nice stuff. Guess this one just doesn't. And it's funny because it seems that everyone who wears their stuff looks completely gay. And I thought gay people were usually much more fashionable/trendy than most people.
