Quilted Kiefer is out, plainflour is selling at least one white pair if anyone is willing to pay almost 400 for one.

Passed because I'll be in Japan later on, but honestly I'm not too sure about the slightly yellowed toebox/sole. Would probably look downright beautiful after a bit of wear though.

damn... so i guess that's what HK retail will be around... (since it appears that I.T uses ebay to price the items locally...)

on a side note - the Visvim backpacks are super nice. and i'd agree that they're better than anything HP puts out.

does anybody know if visvim ever made a red ballistic 20 with the knit bottom? i saw one at a resell shop and it looked pretty amazing but for close to $320 i dont want to buy a fake bag.

No, it's fake. That's the exact bag I bought from a guy on eBay and someone from Visvim confirmed for me they never made the northern isle ballistic 20 (that's the name for the knit versions) in that colorway.

To anyone with experience on ordering from rakuten through a proxy: how does the japanese sizing work? What size corresponds with a US 10 or US 11? According to a website i found it would be 29. Is this correct?

I'm pretty sure japan uses the same measurements as the european so it should be a 44 or 45 for a size 10 foot.

the 29 is likely the CM sizing, which is US11 in Nike, a US10 would be a 28cm and so on

Went to Union LA / UNDFTD yesterday; a little update:

- As covetboy noted, the Nez Perce backpack is about $380; comes in green and black

- The other backpack they had was a large elk leather bottomed black ballistic pack, but it wasn't $422; closer to $475 (insane). Came in green too.

- Lots of Visvim clothing --> Short sleeved button ups, some pants, denim (fluxus)

- Candles = $80 !!!!!!

- Roomspray = $88.

- Black elk leather Logans, Brown elk leather Logans = $344 (or somewhere around there)

- UNDFTD had those hideous red quilted Polkes and the checkered Kiefers. They also had three colors of the Serra x Nam Jun boots (khaki, black, green) for about $320.

I am unsure about the sizing for these quilted kiefers. I read on the visvim sizing thread that kiefer hi fit big like converse. He says a US size 9 fits more like an 8.5.

Do the kiefer hi and kiefer mid fit differently or is it just the quilted kiefers that are smaller?

I usually wear a size US 10.5 in Nikes and a 9.5 in Converse, but I have a pair of the g.line elk leather reservations in a a US size 10 that fits perfectly.

Any thoughts on what size I should get for these quilted kiefers? 10 or 11?

i got a pair of Kiefer mid 2 weeks ago and i'm the same size as you (10.5 in nike) so i went with a 9.5 and while lenght wise, there's no problem, the shoes feel fucking narrow (i don't have especially wide feet). i endured some pretty heavy pain the first couple of days, but have stretched enough that they are kind of almost comfortable now, but still, the because it's so tight, the shape is a little weird so i would go with a size 10 just to be sure if i was you.

those quilted kiefer are fucking nice.
