check out the album "earl chinna smith" by various artists. it's on itunes. it's really soft reggae. acoustic stuff. i don't know if it fits the stereotypical reggae.

If you're looking for some good reggae check out Aux Armes et Caetera by Serge Gainsbourg. This is the first freggae (French reggae) album from 1979. It features some big name Jamaican musicians like Sly and Robby and even has Bob Marley's wife on a few tracks. Gainsbourg is known for his dark poetic slurred delivery and the music is very good. Definitely worth listening to.

And if you're just a music fan in general, you have to check out Gainsbourg's 1971 classic concept album Histoire de Melody Nelson. This album is constantly sampled to this day in hip hop beats and has influenced the likes of Tricky, Beck and Air.

PS - "Negusa Nagast" is the title of one of Gainsbourg's songs from the Aux Armes et Caetera.

Fantan Mojah - Hail The King

I've been listening reggae to quite a long time and I have to admit, that this was one of the albums I liked most! Great lyrics, riddims and I love his voice, not as soft as Cultures' (R.I.P.) but not as aggressive as Sizzla... Great melodies! Gotta listen to that album again, from the first to the last track, there's not one tune I don't like!

Another album I recommend is Sizzla's best (by distance!): Da Real Thing, the others are going to agree.... lovely album not comparable to those he continues dropping :'(

im pretty new to listening to reggae, all the reggae ive heard is from bob marley. but ive loved most of his songs. i also like to look into some more reggae music besides bobs work if i could
