The 11oz Oki denim that the vest is made out of shrinks like crazy. My large Liberty CPO came raw with a 45 inch chest. I soaked it in the hottest water from the tap supplemented by a few kettles of boiling water and the chest shrank by a good three inches.

I would bet that full shrinkage on this denim is somewhere around 7-8%. The guidance given by Cotton and the more experienced MF Naval Tailor line owners is that full shrinkage on a raw medium will make it the same size as a raw small.

Xchen I don't think you'd be a small in the signal vest, they shrink a lot. I would say buy a medium, hot soak it and then toss that bitch in the dryer. (0)

Hey No, I haven't contacted them yet. While I like their stuff, I'm not in the market for anything new at the moment, except for new boots or epic knitwear. I'm interested to see if they eventually offer additional items. Someone needs to try their trousers
