Online shops that do chain stitch hems with order?

I'm short and usually need my jeans hemmed. Unfrotuantely, my usual tailor passed away and no one local does a great job. Besides Blue in Green in NYC, what other online retailers hem your jeans when you purchase thru them? Do any online shops do chain stitched hems?

You can always send your jeans to Denim Doctors in Los Angeles. A regular chainstitch job is $12 and it takes about a week. They did a great job on two pairs of jeans for me and I've heard nothing but good things about them.

Thanks for the info. Do they have a website or contact info? I did a search and have they renamed themselves to Denim Revival or Hollywood Trading Company? or are they the same place?

When you order jeans on Rakuten, most stores will hem with a chainstitch if you ask.

yeah, but keep in mind, that you'd have to buy your jeans one wash.

i'm sure 45rpm will chainstitch your hems if you order through them. maybe they'll even do your other jeans through the mail (i know they'll do them in-store).

Try Freddy at Fred Segal Santa Monica. He's pretty damn good.
