Somewhere I'm getting the wrong info, I'm reading on google that the I heart NY typeface is ITC American Typewriter but my eye is telling me that the version I have isn't the same as this.

it looks like the same face but doesn't match any of the weights/styles I have on my computer.

The original version was hand lettered, I believe ITC typewriter is just the closest match.

does anyone have a program / online app for creating animated gifs bigger than 10 or so frames (needs 40)?

who the hell has fireworks?

in PS you can import a movie into animation frames (layers)

then open Window > Animation and have fun.

Unfortunately, as far as I know you cannot open an animated GIF into layers. Though, on a mac you can open an animated GIF with Quicktime, save as an MOV and then import into PS. Stupid but it works.

Well, yeah but I've never installed the whole suite I guess. I use to be pretty nice with Imageready, but yeah it's dead now.
