First time I've made anything with leather. A wallet for my brother. 10+oz oil tanned leather for the outside, veg tan for the detail piece, and some crummy lining leather.

one life drawing study i did on monday and a potrait i did a while a go,

not much going on two nights ago, so i drew this early in the morning. Looks yellow cause I took a picture at night using my desklamp, it's actually on a white semi gloss cardstock kinda deal.

I figure it's a good beginning tattoo as it lends itself to being done first as just line then colour added later and additional work added around it when I want more.

I've seen flowers in quite a few but I think the one big rose on the forehead is probably enough. Seen quite a few jewels too so I think I'm going to come up with something that is more specific to me somehow.

If I do eyeballs I'll probably just done one and fill the other with some twilight zone type pattern. It'll probably be about half this size too in practice because it'll be going on the inside of my forearm.

that dash tattoo is by mike giant. i met some dude that had someone else give him the same tattoo.. stupid. that dude also claimed to write nekst and he most definitely does not.

I don't know much about tattooing, but I was under the impression that mike giant's tattoo flash is in a good amount of shops, so it's not too weird that some people would have mike giant tattoos not actually done by the man himself.

People who front about writing is a whole lot of horseshit, though.

I was thinking some sort of intricate scene going on in between the two eyes, sort of like small portraits - finer lines and maybe even a different style all together for whatever would go on in there.
