Marine... what is the history of those?

The soles look stock, but the uppers look used.... or are they an old resole from years ago that never got worn?

Don't worry I wasn't referring to you. I meant the whole can't wear blah unless you do the job it was designed for 100 years ago argument.

It's cool. You didn't hurt my sensitive widdle feelings.:P Nonetheless, the answer to my question was there if I looked, so even if you didn't direct the comment at me, the lesson was still good.

sneakeraddict, i wish i could! he bought them at a thrift store somewhere in the british countryside. the person who wore them originally had died and i think all the branding has been worn off. i will ask my friend if he can find some kind of indication of what kind of shoe it is.

i think the british companies are the way to go. if anyone has any suggestions for good brit shoe companies, please let me know.

So he really was stepping into a dead mans shoes........
