stumbled upon some funk the past few days at work. Some of that is dust, some is paint. some is petrified (?) sugar.

I've been busy working a re-model of a sister store. (can't emember if I said that already or not) mostly a lot of cleaning and gettting gross. It's done a number on me, and on my pants.

Can't believe we're already 2 months into this thing!

pants were still damp today, so I stayed the course with Left Field and wore my other ducks.

my basketball season is over. we were knocked out of the playoffs on Tuesday night. I'm going to give it up for a while, to spend more time with Jack. Been doing it for 10 years, 2 teams every year coaching both the Jr. and Sr. teams. It's time for a break. Almost got tossed out of our last game.

hey all. just got home from rehearsing with one of the top 10 !baddest! tenor players in the world, donny mccaslin.

Looking great everyone. I'm doing about 5 days a week in them and just not seeing some of the fading like others are having...? I'm sure I"ll get there, but nothing dramatic yet....

hi guys, have not updated in a while. been really busy with work. managed to snap some pics on my trip up north to check on one of my project sites.

i've only been wearing 2 pairs of indigoes and they've been staining my filson bag

i worked on the design of one of the penthouse interiors in the apartment blocks behind which overlooks the pool and courtyard

March Update...

I got a free screening to The Lorax today at City Walk and took the family...

I was not expecting this many people.... the line was huge

I didn't think I'd get in with all these people.

City Walk is a crazy place visually...

I think this was my first 3-D film since the 80's...

Lot's of advertising inside the theater...

Didn't have lunch there at City Walk but did walk a round a bit....

Saw Captain America's bike in the parking lot when we left...

And now it seems to not like my imageshack links, either. But I did spend 20 minutes trying to get it working. It's the thought that counts, right?

Hey guys it's Christian from Left Field, sorry for the delay I've been burried in boxes up to my head for the past few moths. It's really interesting perspective to see what you all are doing in every day life in the indigo ducks, very cool! Thank you all for being part of this and for supporting the brand! and many thanks to Andrew for putting this time capsule together. I have been very busy operating solo for the last 3 years paying off a mountain of debt. Trying to rebuild the brand from the ground up while being involved in every operation of the business. While nothing is ever perfect I'm constantly working on improving product and making things as durable as I can at a working man's price. My advice on these is wear the shit out of them, they aren't made for going to church on sunday, they are a work pant and what ever you do in these will reflect your personal experience. I rinsed mine once in cold water, inside out and hung dry. I have been wearing them since sept and feeling a bit warm from the bacterial activity. I would think the hot water would bleed them like a gutted pig but from what a few have said, seems like it's not too bad, so i guess if you want the extra shrink it wouldn't hurt. It's best not to rinse right away beause it removes the starch and the starch makes them stiff and causes more friction on creases so I would say go at least a month or two without rinse to get the most character. I do have another run of these in sewing currently and they are slightly slimmer in the leg. They should be done in a few weeks so keep an eye on the site. Just to mention for White Oak selvedge duck lovers I will have a raw natural as well. Many thanks to Blake Gaines at Cone for pushing these through when there was so much corp resistance on bringing these back. Looking forward to learning a lot more from all of you and watching your evolution in Left Field and most importantly Life. Thanks Christian . Mine are feeling warm now as well! I took some pics the other day but they came out way too light so I will attempt some more this weekend. Cold wash coming sometime soon but I hemmed already so need to be cautious .

Had to transplant a back pocket button to the fly. Pants are coming along alright. Fading most around pockets and around the belt line. about 2.5 months wear, 2 shower rinses.
