Need some help with these jeans..

Ok these pics are not my jeans, but this is the style/fit/colour I want to achieve..

I know they are A.P.C's, they look too narrow for New Standards so i'm pretty sure they're either Cure or New Cure.. what do you think? Is there that much of a difference between the 2??

Also I like the ways these fit on him, most people in the know seem to size down in their APC jeans because they stretch.. I'm usually a 30 waist, so what size should I go for to achieve this kind of fit?

Finally the colour.. how long should I wait before the first wash and how should I wash them to keep the colour similar to these? i've seen some people wear their APCs for close to a year, wash them and they look too faded for my liking.

if it helps, the guy wearing these is only small, about 5'6", and has a slim build.

Thanks alot, any help is much appreciated!

looks like petit standard?

also, if you want that fit probably go down 1. and wear belt.

thanks, i thought petite standard but some of these pics were taken mid-2008 and they weren't out then I dont think? also, i've seen these turned up and they don't have a selvedge, so i'm thinking they're they old Cure?

They could be NS. If you're usually a 30, I'd probably say go for a 27 or 28 depending on how you want them to fit. A 28 is sizing down 0, 27 is going down 1 (29" new). They'll stretch a fuckton.

new standard have the red selvedge though dont they? these definetely dont, ive seen them turned up.

If they don't have the selvedge line and you're positive that they're APC then they would then be NCs

If you want that fit you'll have to size down one from your true waist (ex. waist is 30, you get tag size 29 in NC)

Wear a belt cuz the true waist on the jean will be 31

definetely A.P.Cs, i know that for a fact.. and I think they could be the original Cure, not quite as skinny as the new cure. ive ordered a pair of cures in a 29 and will take some pics to show everyone the fit! thanks for all your help :)

Yeah man im positive even the petit and new cures were 230. I wanted to try the NS on but they didnt have my size. But when i first seen the price for the petit i thought it was only for those and then i check the other styles and they were the same.

Here are my APC New Standards.

They've been worn to death for about 3 months more or less. Deciding when I should give it it's first wash, the smell isn't too bad because I unleash the fumes of axe on it every so often.

Any opinions would be great !
