There have been a few loopholes. Which one are you referring to?

What I've been doing is just making posts on Google+ and then sharing them with people via email. As long as you have a gmail account, you should then get an email that allows you to view the content and sign up for an account.

It was working earlier today so if this loophole has closed, it's a recent change.

When i first heard of Google +, i just went to the website and was able to create an account just like that, really don't get why. i have been asked by like 50 ppl for invites and yet to have any...

I never ended up getting an email from stazy, but when I went the the website it just let me make an account with stazy added. just in case anyone didnt get an email.

No problem

Just sent out another wave! There doesn't seem to be much consistency or recognizable pattern on when the invites actually show up. Some people get them right away and others take over a day. It's weird.

They have been allowing invites and then stopping as they slowly add some new users every day. See this note posted by one of the guys who works on Google+ here
