I am in Mongolia now heading to Beijing tomorrow by train. I will try to visit the Red Cloud shop in Shenyang for the Spring and Summer exhibition. Does anyone know the adress or the way to get there? I plan on picking up a pair along with a shirt. Ive been wearing Allevols I bought in London for the past 8 months and the pockets are wicked blown out along with the crotch and I would love to start on a new pair. Would anyone be interested in anything while im there? I have never proxied before but I can, I have ebay, userid is 90 and 90 no spaces..

Fit Picks and moar 425xx Special (all natural indigo), Picked up in Shenyang, the craftsmanship is amazing on these and im really excited to see this brand grow. They are hot in the Mainland market, im going to stop by some brick and mortars and see if I can find some old stock, I really like some of the older work shirts. I have some more pictures but dont want to bog anyone down with photos, if anyones interested I have some from the factory and the stock that is going to be released soon... Factory is really clean, workers are happy and knowledgable, I really support this amazing artwork he is producing.

More of the R425XX Spec. Copper Buttons painted, Universal fasteners/Rivets and beautiful self edging all natural indigo. These havent been released yet, so keep your eyes out, they are beautiful. The man does an amazing job.

So I figured out how to work Taobao and I wanna order mysel a pair as well. I was mostly looking at the 17oz pairs because I've never really gone above 14.5 so it should be interesting. That leaves me with 2 options, the S423:

Now my question is, for those with experience with these cuts, which would be the slimmer/more tapered, the S423 or the R400? And how bad was the shrinkage/stretching? About 2 inches shrinkages 1 inch stretching?

from personal experience, the R400 is the slimmer of the two that you mentioned. news is that they dont shrink that much. only between 1 to 1.5 inches. they seem to be able to stretch back out to presoak size. someone correct me if im wrong...

not too sure about whether they produce the denim on their own, but i know that they are the ones putting them together and are also in charge of the dyeing process... certain materials like the buttons and rivets are outsourced though.

Man I'm pretty bummed out he's not making a 33, since the 34 will be too big but depending on the shrinkage the thighs could be a problem on the 32.. Need to measure my thighs ^^; .

If nothing else I might just get the 32's and do a cold soak or something.
