i really enjoy the fit and i like most of the details (i like the pockets and 7 belt loops you didn´t enjoy. and esp. buttons are great imo) . if they had a more interesting (unfansosized) denim + chainstitch (+ maybe hidden rivets) i´d be definitely up for a pair. but i recommended these already to two guys, who like raw denim and don´t want to spend the money japanese jeans cost.

maybe they´ll make a premium edition one day? i´d consider it.

Yeah, a premium edition was on my mind too. The buttons are great, I agree, but seven beltloops is wrangler style on a (more or less) levi repro. But hey, the PB is the better alternative than Nudie.

today we went to munich christmass market. it´s actually quite famous, but i don´t really get why. anyways, i want to show you around...

Back home we had some traditional *cough* austrian *cough* food: "Tafelspitz mit Wurzelgemüse, Meerrettichsoße und Petersilienkartoffeln". (Prime boiled beef with horseradish sauce, root vegetable and parsley potatoes).

about the pb & nudie comparison: maybe they have a different approach, but you can still compare the denim and the overall quality, which honestly seems to be better on the pikes. i also think the engineer´s fit is totally timeless and a really good one.

and about the "premium edition": as i said, i wouldn´t want to change much, but the denim and i´d add some hidden rives and a stainstiched hem...

another night of work for me, so i was sleeping most of the day...

we had raclette today.

wine from my home area. these bottles are typical for that area. they´re called "bocksbeutel" and this is quite a good müller-thurgau. the winegrower is a friend of my parents.

with all the cheese, bacon and potatoes this is quite heavy food, so we needed a schnaps afterwards.

today we went to the theatre.

we saw a modern version of tschaikowski´s nutcracker. quite enjoyable. sorry, but of course there were no pics allowed...

tomorrow i´ll visit a convetion and saturday i have to work. sunday we´ll be leaving for south tyrol (alto aige) for a short vacation.

don´t know if i can post pics when i´m there, but if not i´ll post one huge update when back home.

9am saturday till 9am sunday. now after all my work is done, i´m just hanging around, surfing the internet and hope, that noone needs me...

Here comes a HUGE update....

we travelled to Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy for the last 4 days.

we had quite a good time, i hope you´re gonna enjoy the pics...

after arriving we we went to the sauna (no pics, sorry...).

then we got ready for dinner- the hotel was styled pretty old fashioned:

we went snowboarding early in the morning. no jeans for me...

some impressions from this day:

it was really really cold this day (-22°C), so we needed some tea.

after riding we went for a walk in the village.

in this shop i found lots of christmas presents...

after riding we had this delicious cake (strudel)...

which tasted even better with this view...

another day of snowboarding. we did the sella ronda this day. a great tour around a huge mountain range.

unfortunarely the last day of our short vacation.

we did the sellaronda the other way round.

the alpine skiing worldcup will take place in val gardena on friday-sunday. on our way back we saw some competitors training on the downhill course...
