I fucking hate SLRs but i bought a Nikon FE / 28 2.8 for some reason.

how can you hate SLRs? what about them pisses you off exactly?

I guess hate is a stupid word to use when referring to camera type, but i prefer the speed and size of rangefinders for the most part. I like the focussing better too, but that might just be because i'm more used to it.

That said, 6x6 SLRs i love...

freecat: this is done with a long exposure with a tripod or with a lens with image stabilization.

i forget wha the technique is called. basically you use a zoom lens and have it zoomed in and slowly zoom out stop every few turns. the long exposure allows the image to be frozen at that specific focal length allowing the scaled illusion.
