helleaux! I thought I should introduce myself now that I've finally joined. I think I've been lurking since 2021 (!) but in late 2022 suffered a stroke which paralyzed me. however, I've been working to recover ever since, and this year started wearing my old clothes again. can't really work on fading jeans right now (I like pre-lawsuit "fake" levi's repros with the arcs) but I also love jackets so I'm committed to this t-back FW 46-47 for now. the rest is very old polo.19 points

Got up this morning and made the sleepy teenagers some breakfast.. a recipe of my own creation.. greek yogurt, toasted waffles and blossom honey.. they didn't get back from their hike till 12.30am ..went to Fox House ..picked a few boletes ..headed out to Mam Tor, ..blurry ..i'd seen some folks picking mushrooms here last week while on my bike ride.. they looked more like gentle hippies than Guardian reading micro-dosers.. which was a good sign ..yellow club fungus ..scarlet waxcap ..but these^ were not what i'd come for today ..bit of prep ..and some fan assisted air drying3 points

I designed that new Boncoura fit for those who really want a full high-rise and wide leg fit. I think the production run came out quite well!1 point

NEW BONCOURA JEANS! This week we have three new Boncoura jean models, one of which was designed and produced exclusively for our stores. The Self Edge exclusive jean is a new high-rise wide leg model made of their signature 15oz pure indigo dyed selvedge denim. We also have wide leg work pants made of a lightweight indigo denim and the Z model jean which is their straight tapered fit made of their 15oz denim. Please check the product pages on our site for a full rundown of all fabric and construction specifications, as there is a lot that goes into making these jeans. Finally got the chance to check out their store in Paris and left with a pair of LR01s. Really cool spot for any denim fan and Arthur (the owner) is very nice and knowledgeable about anything jeans related. Their shop is like a little workshop filled with vintage machines and faded pairs of their jeans and jackets on display, it would be easy to stay there for quite some time..1 point

Sheffield marathon today.. they run past our house before heading out towards the Peak District so i got out of dodge early Rode up Whitley Wood Road towards Ringinglow Had a blast around Burbage.. the cloud cover in the valley was incredible, even through this vintage iphone4 Rode down the crazy hill into Hathersage.. i'm now under the clouds ..through to Adventure Cafe at Hope ..took the Edale road.. past The Cheshire Cheese Edale ..up to Mam Tor ..this is the road, i've just cycled up from Edale.. on a 30yr old MTB ..took the bridlepath ..looking over Mam Tor ..the road at t'other side of Mam Tor has been slipping down the hill since the day it was opened.. meh! let's just give it back to nature ..stopped for a stroopwafel, feathuring JMC sweatshirt, vintage 90s era Stussy shorts and Chucks ..rode down into Castleton ..and back home1 point

I had been wanting to get a randall for some time. Waited to the last couple weeks of summer to pressure me into it. Just enough sun to get it to a nice warm color. One hell of a jacket. Day 1: The branding scar: You can see there was a bit of a drizzle so I gave it a water treatment to prevent spots after about 1 week Then we had one scorcher of a day which made a noticeable change: Then another hot day: by this point it got to be a mindless daily meditation of putting it outside and turning it every couple hours. After another week or so I oiled it with Pecards antique: Drying in the sun: at this point I had maybe 12 days of sun on it and had about 1-2 days of questionable weather before it looked like fall was switching on. So this is just about where we are for this year. Gonna wear the shit out of it and see what we can do next summer.1 point
