Hi all

every now and then I come across some good/not so good videos treating about jeans. They vary from interviews thru documentaries to simple fun ads. I thought everyone could enjoy watching different stuff. And sometimes learn from it. So here are my links. If you know of any others add them here. BTW the first 2 are Nudies which I know have been posted before but I thought I could include them anyway.

King of Vintage...for the Japanese speakers

He's quite possibly the reason why most of the vintage denim is now in Japan...;) Quite the collection if you ask me...the ones on the far left look pretty tasty not to mention..well, everything else! And to top it all off, hes a post office worker (but started collecting when he was young)(apparently the displayed jeans are worth at least $140,000USD whenever this was filmed)...

New videos from the Lightning Denim Buyer's Guide Release Event party...pretty ridiculous seeing all that nice denim side to side in all the videos...There's stuff from every brand we rave about as well as some that don't get as much attention...A must watch IMO...

The actual buyers guide flip through:

A look at jeans from all brands...of particular interest is a new model by Dubbleworks! As well as Fullcounts worn by the boss himself, and a look at faded purple PBJ's:

Billiken Man makes an appearance, a bunch of Samurai's, and more round up this vid:

Looks like he might post more but I'll update as it goes along...damn I love lightning!

More stuff from the Lightning Denim Buyers Guide event...Gleem, Warehouse/Duckdiggers, Evisu No.1 at 5 years and more! Check out those Flatheads (also one year and six months)... :o Many of the pairs they show in this series are grail worthy... He jokes about the Gleem's taking a year and six months as compared to the 5 year Evisu's and 3 year (IIRC) Tedman's...

I don't know if this ever came out.

My gripe with it was that they didn't seem to think there was anything worth shooting outside of Los Angeles for the entire film.
