Fave coin pocket style?

Levi style - 'normal' slim rectangle.

Lee style - big, with one rivet on the outside and none on the inside.

Wrangler style - hidden right up by the waist band.

Got to be the levi for me.

wrangler, it's the biggest. it fits a cell phone quite easily.

Funny thing is -- it's not even a coin pocket. It was designed (and used) for pocket watches.

I like the Levis style the most.

I rocked an antique pocket watch for a while and kept it stashed in the coin pocket of my Levi's, but I gave it up cos it was so incovenient to keep digging around and pull things out. That's what made me ask.

Yeah ... Was a beautiful russian piece with a crazy solid silver chain that I picked up cheap enough when I lived in Prague during '94. But I part traded it for a return ticket to Tokyo a few years later.

i like the lee pocket

the wrangler one i find soooooooooo aggravating. thats the pocket on my 5eps, and i can never ever find it under the belt.

also, the actual front pockets on the 5eps are huuuuuge. anyone else find that?

I like the lee ones from the 50's and earlier that thad a hidden rivet instead of sharing the bartack with the belt loop. I will post a pic to give you a visual. I keep change in mine.

The old Wranglers with the curved stitched line at the bottom is pretty nice.

this post inspired me to check in my coin pocket on my rescues to see if i liked it, and i found a penny from 1935. im quite pleased. and i like this pocket...levis style i guess.

Those are the Sugarcane 1880s replicas, no? Nice denim, but weird they stuck belt loops on there... wish LVC would produce another replica of those jeans.

Am I the only guy who fold up banknotes & keeps em in the coin pocket?

I was gonna mention the 1880s levi pocket, but couldn't find a decent picture. The addition of loops on those canes would render that pocket useless.

a pen knife and a small tin of "lip protector" is in my coin pocket. for the record.

EDIT to address hotcakes: i used to keep a BIG 1850s "braid" penny in my coin pocket, but it hurt!
