yeah not for nothin'...but I noticed the same with the USA sizing. They may be the 5000vx silohuette...but it's more like it's sized down by 1. Meaning I tried on a 31 which is 1 size down from my true, and they looked more like the 5000vx's in a size 30. I compared them to the 0500's raw (I have them too, but haven't worn 'em passed the point of stretching the waist back out for comfort) and the thighs especially seemed a little more snug at the same size. Noriko did the thigh measurements and 0500's = 12.5"...while the USA's = 12.25". I also tried on the 210xj's in the same size, again, to compare (since the thighs were what stopped me from immediate coppage)...and they measured out to 12"...which is tight as I'd ever go...can't imagine the love of .25" shrinkage post-denim toasting.

I picked up the USA's though...thought I'd give them some time and thought in the mirror at home...but I'm still shook at the thigh shrinkage. Good thing is, I could do the waist up...not a nice feeling...but I could.

End of the day...I really hope Dino's method works, I may be found doing some yoga in semi-dry denim if thsee thighs kill.

wow, you received them quick - sorry bout the weird packaging ;)

they fit you fine, alot better than me. youre taller and skinnier, i could only do half the buttons. if you think youll be able to stretch them back out, hot wash and dryer, and youll get probably the slimmest look anyone ever achieved with sams so far. otherwise just soak.

nah, definitely do as hot a soak as possible, and if youre afraid about the waist then yeah just stick something in it, a cold soak will only cause frustration down the road in my opinion. looking at the pictures it looks like the waist has enough room to where it wont be a problem for too long, i think the crazy weight and stiffness of new s710s helps give the impression of them being tighter than they actually are, shits intimidatin'

and dont machine dry, itll leave your beefy 19ozs feeling like soft gurly man pants

Do you really believe I should keep these? A respected member on the forum said..

Knugget,

Personally i don't think those fit you well.. They're sloppy looking on your figure and i'm not sure if the high rise is working well either..

yes i do, i dont know what whoever that is is talking about, i think they have just enough room to look really good after a soak and that member is talking about of his ass. sloppy on your figure? maybe im brain-dead, but i dont see that at all..

take a vote?

if you dont want to take my word then soak them first and then see, even if you dont want to keep them soaking them shouldnt really affect your chances at reselling them on supermarket... anyone who buys a raw pair will have to wash them eventually...
