Try flipping the back power switch with your finger on the eject button. I know that's a maintenance procedure to "force" eject discs.

trust me, i tried everything, including that, as well as removing the HDD then holding the power button for several seconds, it just shuts off instantly with a blinking red light, going to cop a slim anyway, i'm just going to open it up and get it out of the drive myself

I realized I was thinking about my driving line whilst driving irl today. fuck.

still haven't brobocopped in GT5 yet.

I joined ROYALE in some NASCAR and when the race started everyone was parked in a circle skidding around and then when everyone got on track and started racing it kept telling me I was in the wrong position. I ended in 5th, but the leaderboards said 8th.

maybe because I was playing with people near ROYALE?

Heres my review of it:

I think its really good for the price ($99.00)

Positives:

The force feedback is almost on par with the g27

PS Button

Labeled buttons

The GT logo glows when its on

The red dial (skip to 35secs)

The downsides:

Break and throttle pedals are made out of plastic, they have no resistance and feel kinda flimsy

No actual shift paddles, only L1 and R2 buttons. It does the job though

Loud zzzzzz sound when rotating the wheel (not really an issue to me)

tl;dr

Overall its solid, very fun to use. With a wheel you can actually feel and control the car. My only real gripe is the lack of actual shifter paddles.

But I think its definitely worth the money if you plan on just using it for GT5

that is sick, you can even change 4WD torque on the fly useful for drifting AWD cars, it's a pain always going into settings all the time changing it to 10/90

I kinda want a wheel already. I figure it's probably worth it to cop a peripheral for one of the few games I'm playing right now since it'll make it that much better.

I used to pay more attention to everything that was coming out game-wise, but lately it's just cod/sf/gt. I'll be copping Marvel in Feb, but don't see any other cops anytime soon. Anything else on the horizon?
