Washes are good...but somehow they turn up looking better on chicks...only skinny dudes can rock them well.

yeah the washes are nice, but i think the quality is shit since its been made in sweatshops

Cultizm, its THE BEST. my pair didn't fit, so he exchanged my pair, paid all the shipping, and threw in a free LVC tote and book on the history of Levis. that, plus 2 day shipping(from germany to victoria BC, canada) makes them the best store i've ever dealt with.

Fucking finally a thread on distressed denims. I am looking for a pair of denim that is distressed by hand, not by machine or any huge production scale. Any thoughts? I like the look of some of the dior distressed, some acnes, but havent really found much...

The first pair of jeans (if I am correct) are the LVC "Nevada" pre wash. They are supposed to be an exact replica of the oldest known Levis to still exist today (older pairs were destroyed in some fire in San francisco), 1880's model found in a mineshaft in Nevada.

i mean i can see how you can enjoy a pair of jeans that was prewashed and has some kind of fade pattern on it already. but what i really don't understand is why you would buy pre-destroyed jeans. how does damaging a pair of jeans augment their value???

the only pre-distressed pair I own are an old pair of 55 LVC's which I fucking love. Need to get them hemmed though, too much distressing leads to ripped pockets too.
