i got a pair of black Chatav Ectabit jeans. super dark black, great fit IMO. with 8.2inch hem and a great cut, it fits just the way i want it to. my favorite go-to jean for everyday wear. as far as black raw, i stick with either Uniqlo black jeans, or Attachment J-Jeans.

Here are long awaited images of my pair of the Context Exclusive KMW 1980 Black Selvage. I've received hella questions about fade, stretch, sheen, shine, and color change on these. Pics provide answers. The when new the denim is THE MOST RIGID FABRIC you will find anywhere. Some soak theirs, I did not. I would recommend not soaking. They are sanforized (and thus will shirk almost zero with a soak). The folds and creases will be more pronounced without a soak= better fades.

2.5 months daily wear. No Wash No Soak. They have stretched one inch in the waist.

You can see a shine developing. They feel waxy.

so far i only ow the sda dp-292 and they are more greyish black.

IronHeart is going to release a new Riders Jacket end of November - the 9527.

It is the same cut as the 527 and the 1527, but made out of 21oz Real Black Extra Heavy Denim.

I asked Giles from www.ironheart.co.uk about this, and he said that he is going to carry those - also taking preorders on his website!

Price is not fixed yet, but will include free shipping worldwide as usual, with three different price segments - UK, Europe and Worldwide.

Sizing is supposed to be same as 527 and 1527, but do not count on that!

I just smoked and you just tripped me out...I have the somet 005's in black, skull 5010xx 6x6, and just started on a pair of 811s ~1.5 months ago.

I would say the skulls feel like they have a slightly higher rise than the somets. Skulls also have a little more taper and smaller hem than somets. I have big thighs so diors would never work for me, but i like the fits on the skulls and somets. I think the somets would be a good choice for you if you like the 811s, but beware of the rise, its aot lower than the 811.

I've got a pair of Black Imperial Kings, which I have been wearing daily for about 5 months or so.

They've really become a thing of beauty, but the fading and streaking is mostly quite subtle, there is nowhere near the contrast I have seen on my indigo jeans.

Although the weft is white, dye bleeding has made it more of a gray over time. Overall the jeans have developed a sort of gray sheen at high-wear areas.

I would recommend Imperial for black denim, although the fading is very slow, and very subtle.

And a question, does Samurai make a Black version of the 510?
