but i was considering this experiment::::

right now i have SEXI08 BK in 34.

hot soaked it and (2.5 months in) it still fits perfectly.

by perfect i mean it rests right at my hip without a belt. and doesn't gradually fall when i walk.

i was considering getting the indigos in 33 or even 32 maybe.

cold soak? or even no soak? (pastrami stacks concept)

or i could be on the safe side and get 34 again.

any opinions on the matter?

As all others have mentioned, just go with your regular size of 34

These fit like leggings on me after I soaked, but loosened up within a week or so to fit perfectly ( and not even with constant wear). They seem to give a lot in the beginning, and then they dont really give out at all anymore.

I loved the feel of the denim and fit do much, after I bought the blacks I immediately bought a pair of indigos. The fit is probably the most flattering of any jean I have ever tried on in a raw, and the denim is something special, very soft and forgiving

Do as Markmount requests and just give in, you will be glad you did

2 hot soaks when I first got it cause I wasn't sure I fully shrunk it. =/

Size 28, I think I shoulda done 27. Hemmed to 32 post soak.

I've been wearing my pair everyday for the last few months

unfortunately, the crotch on my pair is getting really really thin and i think i should re-enforce it before it blows

anyone else with this problem or had to do this yet?

I've already done a repair on mine. I took mine to a tailor because I wanted it done well and strong, but try to do it yourself and see how it turns out

gave mine a quick cold soak yesterday after I did some construction work in them. Decided not to cuff them anymore and I cant decide if I should hem them or not. The wiskers are starting to pop out more but the combs seem to be taking their time

I didn't think they lost to much indigo, I gave them an initial 45 minute hot soak just to get the shrinkage out of the way, but the 2nd was a quick cold soak so they haven't lost much

TLCA, what i meant was, do they seem to be fading faster since you soaked, like has the indigo loosened up at all.

i picked up the BKs first back in sept, then the indigos about a month ago.

gave the blacks a warm soak, 4 months of wear.

gave the indigos a boiling soak, only a week of wear.

hopefully the comparison will serve somewhat as evo pics.

for those who got the BK:

remember how black it was initially?

the grey (on my monitor) is pretty accurate. but i'll still prob wait until a year before washing. (wishful thinking)

can't wait for the indigos to start fading....

Mine are only fading a little slower than my last pair of jeans. I'm about 4 1/2 months in and they're showing fairly visible fading.
