Edwin ED-47, Just washed did not shrink! (Don't worry, I'm not asking a question)

Hey y'all.

I just picked up a pair of black ED-47s on sale. They fit reasonably well, but looser than I'm used to, especially on the waist. I can pretty much pull them down without undoing the buttons.

Anyways, the chick in the store told me they were only 3% sanforized (this confused me, as I had only heard of sanforized jeans shrinking by about 3%). She told me to expect the jeans to shrink a lot more than my Nudies or APCs.

Well, I gave 'em a cold wash as soon as I got home to shrink 'em before I started wearing 'em, and they did not shrink one bit!

So now I got a reasonably loose fitting jean. Not a big deal, but i thought I'd put this out there in case there's other people thinking of buying a pair that really want that shit to shrink. It may not happen!

Please feel free to ignore this post, at least I didn't ask how the ED47 fit!

Did you buy true to size?

Yeah I guess. I got a 29" and I wear 29" in my RR greycasts. But I measured the 47s and the width is closer to 30". The chick in the store said they would shrink down to tab size.
